Day 2! Today we had two extra people with us - Lauren and Cass! We had a very full day planned so had to start early. First thing we did was go to the Rockefeller Center!
Going up the Rockefeller Center is much better than the Empire State! You get very cool views.
Lauren and Cass!
Oh! There's Time Square!
You have to imagine the Christmas tree and snow.
That's where we were, way up there.
Lego Rockefeller
Lots and lots of Lego
Lego...
LEGO
Saks on Fifth. Because we're fancy.
St Bart's
It's not Cole Porter's piano... But it's a piano in the Waldorf Astoria. So that's pretty cool.
Can you even imagine being rich and fancy enough to stay in a place like this!
We did a lot of walking in New York but I think it really is the only way to see everything! And it builds up a good appetite for all that amazing New York food! Wowee food's yummo over there.
I would just let the pictures do the talkin', but in case you can't deduce, next we went to Grand Central Station!
Doesn't it just want to make you cook something.
My photos started to look like a New World advert.
99c pizza for lunch! I went for the 2 slices and a soda for $2.79 option. So cheap!
One last view of Grand Central.
Beside the New York Public Library behind which we used the fanciest public toilets in the world!
There are all these pianos around the city that people can use... This one is a professional, so bad example. Such a great idea though! Some very talented normal people out there!
Back to the Library. Aslan? Is that you?
Bit flasher than the Stoke Public Library.
They were doing a lot of work on Broadway which kind of sucked but actually, it was still incredible!
In case you feel inspired while visiting Time Square.
Oooo!
Mature.
A wee rest in Central Park
Buddies
Horse! Vanessa - I won.
The Dakota Building where John Lennon lived!
This was where John was shot on his way home. Just so sad.
We walked around a bunch more then went to dinner in the East Village. We also popped into this awesome music venue called The Living Room. Usually it's more acoustic musicians but on this day it was a bunch of misfits playing bizarrely catchy songs! I liked them.
Andrea! I love your blog and the photos :) It took me back. Thanks!
