Work! But only for 3 days.

This is where I worked for 3 days! I tried to take lots of pictures but I took this one then my camera battery died. mwa-mwow.

I was working for this lady called Maddi - she's the bomb. She has this Italian motorbike that has been turned into a tiny truck with a coffee machine in the back. It's totally adorable. Anyway, she usually just works with it outside King's Cross but she also does conferences and festivals as part of a bigger group of street food/market style food carts and things.

I got a job working with her and 2 others making coffees at this IT conference which, for the first 2 days, I thought was just some dumb confusing computer thing, but then turns out it's like a huge deal and costs 1000 pounds per person to go to and it actually about psychology of how people use the internet and actually seemed like it was really interesting!

Maddi had her little truck outside and I was working inside with this Italian guy called Alfredo (I tried to tell him his name was a pasta dish but he wouldn't have a bar of it.) Basically we were really busy between 9-930 each day then just sat around till they had a break from 11-1130 then sat around till they had lunch 1-2 then sat around till their last break at 330-4 then packed up and went home.. Such fun days! We did so many crosswords - with the help of passing volunteer staff and conference attendees. And I got paid 10 pounds an hour in cash! So amazing! And Maddi is going to let me know about working at all the other events with her. She missed out on Glastonbury  this year but I am sure there will be other wicked festivals to GET PAID to go to!

Wow massive blog. Sorry! I had to make up for lack of pictures.

COMING SOON ON ANDREA'S ADVENTURES: Camden Market. Legoland.
